Self-Care Strategy

We often push self-care rituals to the bottom of our to-do lists, but it's arguably deserving of a top billing! This doesn't have to look like two hours at a spa every morning (but wouldn't that be lovely?). Setting a morning ritual of Sight, Smell, Sound, Feel can be so grounding. Look at one thing that brings you joy: a person, a houseplant, a pet, a photo, take your pick. Smells are powerful for setting your mood, this could be my candle-maker brain, but I feel like Agate Edge comes in handy for this step, Boundaries is my favorite. Listen to something that brings you joy, there's something profound about the way music moves through us. Put on your favorite skincare product after your shower to feel "treated" before you begin to get dressed for the day. Take care of you, you're the only one there is.
